Helena Stockar

This dramatic collection of large oils was inspired by several books depicting the photography of our own solar system and the vastness of the cosmos.  Helena had always maintained an unsatiable curiosity.  So, it seemed inevitable that she would shift her artistic eye to far greater themes than those in her immediate surroundings.  In this collection, Helena applies her matured skills as a colorist and abstract artist to paint the ultimate “landscapes”, the vast compositions of planets, stars, comets, nebulas and galaxies that exist in our seemingly-infinite universe, and the mysterious, delicate origins of life birthed by these titanic forces.
