Helena Stockar
Helena drew constantly, creating a plethora of drawing. An accomplished pianist, as well as an artist, she claimed that her incessant sketching was like playing etudes on piano – constant practice that refined her craft and maintained her creativity. Her initial start in the arts focused on illustration, and many of her works from the late 1960s and early 1970s were created for the accompaniment of books, periodicals and magazines.
